Compatibility
Cam-Hub supports ONVIF and RTSP-based viewing and has been tested with selected Hikvision, Dahua, and Synology devices or systems. Compatibility varies by model, firmware, permissions, stream format, and network configuration.
Before reporting a connection problem
- Confirm that the camera or recorder is online and reachable from your Apple device.
- Verify the device address, HTTP port, RTSP port, username, and password.
- Enable ONVIF or the required local service in the equipment settings when applicable.
- Use an account that has permission to view the selected channels and recordings.
- Try the camera sub-stream when the main stream codec or resolution is not supported.
When contacting support
Include the app version, Apple device and OS version, camera or recorder model, firmware version, connection method, and the exact error message. Never send us your camera password, backup PIN, or complete public connection address.
